동쪽 철도, 서쪽 철도 - 이 두 방향의 철도는 Utah의 Great Salt Lake와 가까운Promontory에서 만날 것을 국회는 법령으로 선포했다.
이렇게 연방국에서 1869년에 정식으로 정해 놓은 것은 해마다 재 제정되었다. 1870년에 Leslie의 Weekly는 철도 길은 시간과 장소의 단축을 가져왔다. 그리고, 철도가 평지인 인디언의 영토를 분할함으로서 "우리는 서부영역의 발 언(sprak)을 거의 그치게 했다." 라고 말했다.

We will start our day with breakfast at the Thunderbird Lodge, followed by a trip into Canyon De Chelly; Experienced Navajo guides explain the significance of man-made structures and symbols while pointing out natural points of interest. Heavy-duty six-wheel drive touring vehicles are equipped with padded seats to provide a comfortable and memorable experience. Guests typically enjoy an open-air ride, but during inclement weather the vehicles can be covered with clear caps engineered by the lodge’s maintenance staff. The tours stop frequently for photographs and to visit ruins, Navajo farms and rock art.

Afternoon visit to Mesa Verde National Park Mesa Verde, Spanish for green table, offers a spectacular look into the lives of the Ancestral Pueblo people who made it their home for over 700 years, from A.D. 600 to A.D. 1300. Today, the park protects over 4,000 known archeological sites, including 600 cliff dwellings. These sites are some of the most notable and best preserved in the United States. After exploring the ruins and culture of the Ancestral Pueblo people will for Durango, Co for our over night.

The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad winds through spectacular & breathtaking canyons in the remote wilderness of the two-million acre San Juan National Forest for an unforgettable year-round adventure. The San Juan range forms the southern part of Colorado's Rocky Mountains and is thought by some to have the best, most varied scenery of all. Spanning the continental divide, it has numerous jagged volcanic summits, 13 of which rise to over 14,000 feet, many lakes, waterfalls and streams including the source of the Rio Grande, several historic towns and countless relics from the gold and silver mining era of the nineteenth century.

First stop this Morning will be Monument Valley Tribal Park. This great valley boasts sandstone masterpieces that tower at heights of 400 to 1,000 feet. framed by scenic clouds casting shadows that graciously roam the desert floor. The angle of the sun accents these graceful formations, providing scenery that is simply spellbinding. The landscape overwhelms, not just by its beauty but also by its size. The fragile pinnacles of rock are surrounded by miles of mesas and buttes, shrubs, trees and windblown sand, all comprising the magnificent colors of the valley. All of this harmoniously combines to make Monument Valley a truly wondrous experience. Enjoy this beautiful land. We will make a loop thru the valley on the way to the Grand Canyon.

Well known for its geologic significance, the Grand Canyon is one of the most studied geologic landscapes in the world. Grand Canyon National Park, a World Heritage Site, encompasses 1,218,375 acres and lies on the Colorado Plateau in northwestern Arizona. We will spend our day visiting spectacular views from Desert View, the Watch Tower, Grand View Point, Mather Pointe, Yavapai Point and the historic El Tovar Hotel in Grand Canyon Village.

After experiencing an Sunrise at the Grand Canyon, We will head for Sedona, Arizona. We will spend our Afternoon touring around the Sedona Area. After a visit to Montezuma Castle we will head for Phoenix.
